We’re two people whose world truly revolves around the livestock industry. Aside from Raymond and Sterling's joint venture with Highland Connection, Raymond owns and manages Competitive Edge Genetics, where he raises, markets, and trades show cattle while offering elite bull genetics. Sterling runs a livestock marketing agency focused on show cattle photography, social media, and website design, all alongside Highland Connection.

This scholarship was created to support and encourage Highland juniors, and we couldn’t ask for a better start. We look forward to offering this opportunity annually and continuing to invest in the next generation of the breed.
SCOTCH ON THE ROCKS
Scotch On The Rocks started in 2024 with a simple goal — to make elite Highland genetics more accessible to breeders across the country.
This offering brings together a select group of highly respected breeders from coast to coast, featuring genetics that are rarely available and difficult to access anywhere else.
Consignments are by invitation only, ensuring a curated, high-quality lineup, while bidding is open to anyone looking to invest in proven, progressive genetics.
Each year, we also host a social at the stalls during the National Western Stock Show, held the evening of the Junior Highland Show — a chance to connect, talk cattle, and enjoy the community behind the program.
