HC Cease & Desist holds a special place in our program as our very first calf, and one we’re proud to carry the “HC” prefix. He brings together a unique and proven pedigree backed by power on both sides. His sire, STR Armageddon, was named Reserve Grand Champion Bull at the National Western Stock Show in 2020. On the maternal side, his dam, HS Jaylyn (purchased from Star Lake), may not have been shown herself, but her maternal sister claimed Grand Champion Female honors at the National Western Stock Show in 2023, proving the consistency and strength behind the cow family!

Cease & Desist is a stout, powerful bull in a more moderate frame, combining adequate muscle, balance, and eye appeal. Structurally, he is exceptionally sound — moving with ease, setting down correctly on all four feet, and built to last in real-world conditions.

In the show ring, he made an immediate statement winning Reserve Grand Champion Bull at the 2025 South Central Route 66 Highland Classic and later that following fall he went on to earn Grand Champion Bull honors at the 2025 North American International Livestock Exposition.

Beyond the banners, Cease & Desist has proven himself where it matters most, in production! In addition to being used in purebred operations, he has been used heavily as a calving ease option for club calf producers, consistently delivering calves that come easy, hit the ground with vigor, and get up and go. His offspring show structural correctness and a look that makes them competitive in the ring.
