Year number two is in the books for another successful Scotch On The Rocks Sale! We were proud to have had 8 consignors this year and 24 lots of unique genetic opportunities. Thank you to all the consignors, bidders, and buyers that made the sale a success!
Each year for the SOTR sale, between Highland Connection and Ritz Land & Cattle, we rotate who provides the donation lot which benefits the Highland Junior Foundation. This year, Ritz Land & Cattle kindly donated 3 units of Ridge Top Haydn's Choice semen for the benefit lot. It was a unique opportunity for potential buyers to be able to get their hands on some hard to come by genetics all while supporting the youth of the Highland breed! The 3 units of semen commanded $200/unit and 100% of the proceeds from it goes directly to benefit the juniors and the future of the Highland breed.
