MP’s Rey is another standout female we acquired at the Mountain Primal Dispersal in early 2023, and one that has exceeded expectations from the moment she stepped off the trailer. Rey brings a level of femininity, balance, and true show ring presence that is incredibly hard to find in this breed. She’s the kind of female that combines refinement with structure — elegant in her look, yet still built correctly from the ground up with the functionality to back it.

After getting her home and seeing just how special she was, we made the decision to halter break her as a two-year-old and take a shot in Denver, and it paid off! Exhibited by Jody Mead, Rey earned Grand Champion Heifer honors in the Junior Show at the National Western Stock Show in 2024.

Pedigree only strengthens her case. Rey is a paternal sister to our donor MP’s Dora, who has already made a strong impact in her first calf crop. Both females are backed by a stacked lineage featuring influential programs such as Drover Hill, Sunset Farm, LEA White, and Bennachie Farms — programs known for consistency, quality, and producing cattle that perform.
